AMMAN — Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Prince Khalid Bin Faisal has issued directives to facilitate all efforts in search of five missing Jordanians at the Red Sea, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.

The Saudi Embassy spokesperson Abdul Salam Al Enizi said that efforts exerted by official bodies and volunteers in the search in the Red Sea are part of Saudi Arabia's "responsibility to protect Jordanians" there.

He pointed out that they have reached out to the families of the missing persons and to the representative of Jordan in Tabuk Mohammad Kreishan. The spokesperson added that helicopters, naval boats, security patrols, coast guard divers and Saudi volunteers were joining the rescue mission.
